SQL 2008r2 on Shared SAN Issue

I had installed a sql server 2008r2 instance on system drive on a workgroup machine.  Both system and user db's ended up on Shared SAN via iscsi drive h:.

I had a requirement to add this machine to a domain.  I found that in order to add this machine to the domain, I need to move the main or non iscsi nic first.  At the time the iscsi nics were first.  After moving the main nic first, I was able to add successfully this machine to the domain.  The problem I am experiencing now is that on a reboot the db instance services wouldn't start automatically.  It appears that now when sql server is trying to startup the services the Shared SAN Drive is not mounted.  Hence, the instance doesn't start.

I realize that I could add scsi startup dependency to make sure the instance starts.  But was wodering as to what is the accepted practice.

Thanks in advance
