Tempdb

Hi

All,

We have around 6 databases that we use in our queries. I would like to know what's the correct size of Temdb database size should be as all the databases are being referenced in order to boost  SQL performance.

Someone on the site had suggested this formula -

[MAX DB SIZE (KB)] X [.25] / [# CORES] = DATA FILE SIZE (KB)

Any comments or suggestion are welcome.
