Scripts to be generated befroe restore

While restoring, its an usual behaviour for us to retain the destination permissions like, database users, database roles, object level permissions etc.

But when we refresh from the production backups to test server, all the production users, production database roles and production object level permissions gets replicated. But this is not a desirable outcome.

My question is I want to have a solid script for backing up all the test users, database roles, object level permissions etc before restoring. And after restore I would simply run the script.

I have tried the above by using generate scripts option for object level permissions, database roles and users. But I would like to have a script instead of Generate scripts. Also in Generate scripts, the DDL of database roles are not scripted out properly.

Thanks and Regards,
