Setting up credentials & proxy to run SSIS package from job step - do the credential password have to be the same as the account password?

I created a new SQL login for a specific domain account.  This acocunt will be used to run a job.  So Im following along withthis msdn article (2005) and Im curious about the credentials step.  Is the password section supposed to be the same password as the account, or is this just for the credential object itself?
