Hi.
I like someone to ask this question, just to get a little more informations and understanding about creating database or DBMS from scratch. You can found plenty books about OS internals, or Distributed Systems, but never I've found books or some online links which guide you how you can start working on own DBMS. I know this is very hard project and one person can't create DBMS, but I like someone to tell me what I need to know, like OS internals, Data Structures etc... and the theory and algorithms behind important for creating DBMS.
