Our radio station uses a music playing schedule the front end appear to be written in SQl but the actual schedule file is an access mdb file. When this is refreshed (new schedule created) every ccouple of weeks the file is approx 50mb. The schedule mdb has approx a dozen fields including the name of the song, length of song, actual name of the song file. There are at the start 16000 records.
This 16000 is added to if a DJ records a link. An audio file is created and stored on the hard drive. A link to this file is added to the schedule in the relevant place. That is it wouldn't become record 16000 it would be inserted in the relevant place in the schedule between the two songs that the DJ has selected.
Yesterday 100 records were added for these recordings and the size of the file increased from 50mb to 120mb.
Is there anything I can look at to see why it has increased so much.
